Mulch is one of the highest-impact, lowest-cost things you can do for your beds. A good layer works quietly all season to keep your plants healthier and your weekends freer.
What mulch actually does
It locks moisture into the soil so you water less, blocks sunlight from weed seeds so fewer sprout, and insulates roots from temperature swings. As it breaks down, it also feeds the soil.
How much, and how often
Aim for a couple of inches — enough to do the job without smothering plant stems. Most beds benefit from a fresh top-up once a year as the old layer thins and fades.
We deliver and install premium mulch and hand-cut crisp edges so beds look sharp the moment we leave.
